DeHoff Flowers then added landscape plants and services in 1967. In 1971, additional property was purchased for nursery sales, a new flower shop was built, and landscape design was added as a service.
In 1985, the business was incorporated as DeHoff’s F.G.L., Inc. and owned by Marian and his two sons, Millard and Mort.
In 2002, Mort’s son Seth graduated from Ohio State University and joined the landscaping department. Millard DeHoff retired in 2003 and DeHoff’s was operated by Mort, his wife, Sue and their son, Seth. With the scope of the business being more diversified and growing, Diane Green, who has been a lifelong employee (1978) was made manager of the flower shop and greenhouse.
Over the course of time the business has grown to add a landscape maintenance division which includes commercial mowing and snow plowing services. Today, DeHoff’s, employs approximately 50 fulltime and part time employees.
