Text Box: Japanese Beatles are beginning to emerge from the soil, and they will soon be devastating our plants.

One easy-to-use product is Sevin. Sevin help to protect foliage that has not been damaged, and does help to kill the beetles. This product comes in the form of powder to be sprinkled on the plant, or in liquid, which can be found in concentrate and ready-to-spray bottles.

Remember that beetle traps and bags should be placed a distance away from the plants you are most interested in saving. They trap and kill, but they also attract beetles to themselves, sometimes bringing more to the area.
